For the second time in my life I got to draw the Hulk for Marvel, even just a little bit. Ok I know you've heard it from me before,...But I wish I had just a bit more time on this one.

Don't get me wrong, the Hulk came out close to what I wanted...not exactly, but close.

The problem I have is I have or had an idea or how I wanted to approach the style of how I draw the Hulk because he is my fave. But really have you had something in mind and someone beats you to the punch...thats how I feel with the HULK.

My vision is kinda a huge bulky, heavy muscled hulk--round forms..and so on Not so muscled that he's a Bodybuilder type ripped kinda style....well I can think of one guy that already doing that in a very Iconic way---and he just Rocks..he just nails it. Yep, Ed McGuinness---

So I was like " crap...no way on earth i could touch that or out Ed ED"...so... I was kinda In a corner with the deadline, I just sat back and just tried to focus on the attitude of the shot and go with it. I also am a fan of the short lived Hulk Cartoon from 1983 that used to air after Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends on NBC---from the theme song to the art style to the voice for the Hulk, it was just EPIC for a cartoon. ( even if banner did change back with his clothes on ..LOL)

I also tried to balance that Idea with design of the Hulk from the game. ( which calls on the design from another Iconic Hulk Artist--Dale Keown)

Also, the bottom panels wen through a bit of revisions and not sure if the bottom ones are the final ones.

Anyway, I still had fun with this even though some of the wind was let outta my sails with the crap that happened with the leaked INKED art.

I hope some of the fun shows through even though some idiot "faux" journalists ERRONEOUSLY named me as the soucres of the leaked art.
